La Graule by Car & Ferry If you are coming by car/ferry the drive from St Marlowe or Caen takes between 6-7 hours. A good option is to take the overnight ferry with a cabin, which departs form Portsmouth at 11:00pm and arrives in France around 7:30am. You can then take a leisurely drive down to La Graule arriving mid-afternoon.

La Graule by Air La Graule is around 35 mins drive from Bergerac airport and 1 hour 15 mins from Bordeaux airport. Both destinations are serviced by budget airlines.

Car Rental Cars can be hired from both Bergerac and Bordeaux airports and the main rental companies (Hertz, Europcar) have offices there. A good local company with an office at Bergerac airport is UCAR (www.apolo-cars.com) which often doesn't have the queues of the larger companies.
